2012年6月，协和双语高级中学国际部迎来了第一届毕业生。长长的录取喜报上罗列着一连串世界顶尖大学的名字，这份毕业答卷着实令人欣喜，同时也意味着协和国际教育的成功果实初现端倪。
这批毕业生里不仅有中国内地的学生，还有来自韩国、新加坡、加拿大、香港、台湾、意大利、荷兰、哈萨克斯坦等国家和地区的国际学生。他们在协和就读的时间从2年至7年不等，有从小就开始接受国际教育的，也有从国内教育转入国际教育体系的，但他们都有一个共同的目标，就是在高中毕业时，能被自己向往的海外大学录取，成为一名合格的大学生。
今年协和双语高级中学IB学生拿到的大学录取通知书中，有13封是来自全球排名前100大学的，包括目前排在世界第一的英国剑桥大学，加拿大的多伦多大学，以及亚洲最好的香港大学等。
“我们重视的是一步步的国际化教育，不同于其它学校的填鸭式应试做法。我们关注的不是学生的成绩达到什么样的水平，而是思维上是否达到要求，进入一个好大学之后，面对新环境、新问题有应变能力，保持良好的学习素质。”对孩子们的表现，副校长James Morris显得非常兴奋，希望建立学生更加健康完整的人格，未来在专业领域发挥到最好。
SUIS Gubei Secondary now has its first generation of high school graduates in June 2012. It is so exciting to see the long list of students’ acceptances from the world’s top universities. This indicates the extensive academic success of Xiehe international education.
These graduates are composed of local Chinese and many international students from the UK, USA, France, Singapore, Canada, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Italy, Netherlands, and Kazakhstan and many other countries. They started their education in Xiehe between 2 and 7 years ago. Some of them received international education from childhood, and some were transferred from other Shanghai schools. No matter what kind of educational pathways they have experienced before, they still maintained their dream to be admitted by the very best overseas universities on completing secondary school.
Thirteen of the university offers SUIS Gubei Secondary received this year came from the world’s top 100 universities, including University of Cambridge, UK (ranked first in the world according to US World News Report 2012), University of Toronto, (ranked first in Canada and 20th in the world) and the University of Hong Kong (ranked first in Asia). That equates to almost one offer from a world-class university per student placing SUIS Gubei Secondary as a leading academic school in China.
