Royal Ballet Comes to Shanghai via XIEHE Education
英国皇家芭蕾舞团的协和艺术之行
On July 2nd 2014, by invitation of the XIEHE Culture and Arts Center, renown ballet practitioner and former soloist with the Royal Ballet Company in the UK, David Pickering, will visit the Shang Yin Campus of Shanghai United International School (SUIS). Pickering’s visit is part of the Theatre’s Royal Ballet Company tour of China, co-hosted by Shanghai Grand Theatre and The National Center for the Performing Arts.
2014年，上海大剧院及国家表演艺术中心将联合主办英国皇家芭蕾舞剧团到访中国的活动。作为此次活动的一部分，7月2日，协和文化创意中心将携手世界顶级芭蕾舞团——“英国皇家芭蕾舞团”，邀请英皇芭蕾舞团的首席艺术家David Pickering莅临协和双语尚音学校，献上顶级芭蕾大师公开课。
Event will begin at 14:00 on July 2nd, and XIEHE Culture and Arts Center will invite Ji Pingping Ballet Studio and all their students and parents interested in Ballet to attend. This is a chance to see British Ballet performed by top stars and enjoy experiential education alongside the British Royal Dancing School. Students will also enjoy the opportunity to communicate directly with Mr. Pickering, which promises to be a once in a lifetime experience. Moreover, students from Shang Yin Ji Pingping Ballet Studio will perform their rendition of “Swan Lake.”
活动将于7月2日下午2点举行，协和文化创意中心将邀请季萍萍艺术风格工作室的芭蕾班的学员们和喜爱芭蕾的学生家长，共同观摩大师公开课，一睹纯正英式芭蕾风采，感受顶级芭蕾舞大师的风姿，体验英皇舞蹈学校芭蕾启发式教育。通过与英皇芭蕾舞团艺术家Pickering先生弥足珍贵的交流体验活动，让学员们领略顶级芭蕾舞团艺术家对芭蕾的完美诠释！尚音校区的季萍萍艺术风格工作室的芭蕾学员也将献上她们的芭蕾舞《天鹅湖之梦》。
The address of SUIS Shang Yin is 185 Long Ming Rd. (near Bao Chun Rd.). It boasts one of the biggest performing arts halls in the XIEHE Education Group and is an ideal location for this event, as it is a school with a long history of supporting music and the performing arts.
